In Gatehouse of Fleet the Mill on the Fleet is, as you can see, an 18th century cotton mill which has been restored and
converted into a tourist information office and exhibition centre.
On the banks of the River Fleet it has a rather nice outdoor café. Sadly, the front is hidden in the trees (last photo).
There's plenty of free parking nearby to visit the mill and the rest of the town's shops.
