House for an Art Lover
Bellahouston Park, Glasgow
One of Glasgow's many hidden gems. Tucked away in a corner of Bellahouston Park just off
Paisley Road West on the south side of the city.
This building was designed by Charles Rennie Macintosh and is an essential visit for anyone who loves his style.
Run by a charitable trust the entry fee is well worth the visit. Easy access and free parking.

As well as indoor art the well-kept gardens are filled with sculptures (free access) and as you
can see the café has both indoor and outdoor seating. There's an art shop as well and the
house is a very classy wedding venue.
A short walk away is the Palace of Art and the world famous Burrell Collection is nearby.
This is the rear view. As well as adults there's lots of stuff for children as well...

Another example of the quirky style of the art on show. If they made this on a smaller
scale it would make a great cookie cutter.
