The new training ground of Kilmarnock Football Club, under construction near Hurlford.

The top photo was taken in February 2026 and the other three are updates in mid-October 2026.

This shows one of the pitches being used to train children and as you can see there's still work to be done in terms of construction and landscaping.

All-weather pitches (three in total), a gym, treatment centre and changing facilities are all in the mix.

On one side the A77 Ayr to Glasgow road, on another the River Irvine and on another the main Kilmarnock to Dumfries railway line.

The yard across the access road between here and the A77 was used by Northseal Scaffolding, now sadly in voluntary liquidation, hence the empty spaces compared to the earlier photo.
