Looking north from just below the confluence of the Black Water of Dee (on the left) and the
Ken Water (straight ahead looking upstream) at the southern edge of Loch Ken.
A popular spot for watersports of various types and the lochside is edged with caravan sites, campsites and good paces to eat and stay.
The now long-disused and no longer accessible viaduct is one of several on the old Port Patrick and Wigtownshire Joint Railway.
Another can be seen here about ten miles away to the south-east at the Big the Water of Fleet Viaduct page.
