The Elderseed Labyrinth, north of Inverkip in Inverclyde.
Constructed in the woods just to the south-east of Lunderston Bay car park between the coastal path and the A770 main road to Gourock with financial support from many sources.
Opened on World Labyrinth Day, 3rd May 2025, the project was led by Compassionate Inverclyde, a community group for the people of Inverclyde.
There's no explanation given for it being called Elderseed but it's as good a name as any.
It's a little tricky looking down through the trees in summer but in winter, with the trees bare of leaves, it would look less woodland and more barren. It's a sheltered, calm and peaceful site and that's clear even if you can't see all of the pattern.
There's free access and an information board on site with a QR code to find out more but sadly no phone number or website address so if you haven't got a smart phone, you're stuffed.
The car park is free, has free toilets and often has a burger/ice cream van. Easy disabled access.
