That's the island of Arran on the left horizon with the Hunterston peninsula on the right and Argyll in the far distance.

The massive eight-foot high sign on the roof seems to be overkill. Surely the pupils and staff know what the school is called?

Does anyone actually need something that big? You need to be within a couple of hundred yards before it's visible. By that time you've already arrived.

Bearing in mind the cost it seems to be totally pointless.
