Organised every year by Troon Round Table and as you can see from the crowds gathered by Barassie Beach they're incredibly popular. Usually on the nearest Saturday to Guy Fawkes' Night.
Taken from offshore to avoid any risk to the spectators. Flying from over the land looking out to sea would be too dangerous with that number of people lining the shore road.
