The Burrell Collection
Pollok Country Park, Glasgow

The Burrell Collection in Pollok Country Park in the south side of Glasgow,
taken just as autumn starts to break.
This world-famous museum was modernised and re-opened in March, 2022, making it if anything even better than before.
It still looks so fresh and clean that these photos could almost be an architect's projection of what it would look like when finished.

A few hundred yards away, in the same park, is Pollok House, currently under scaffolding for restoration work. It's aother fine museum, one of several in the city, which is planned to re-open at the end of 2025. Photos later.

as a label on a website.
