Cellardyke Outdoor Pool
Anstruther, Fife

On the eastern edge of Anstruther, these were taken on a bright sunny morning in July 2025.
This is also known, to those of us who remember, as the Cardinal Steps Bathing Pool.
These were taken just after the tide began to fall and you can easily see the outer walls of the pool which are under water at high tide.
The Fife Coastal Path runs right alongside.

The pool is tidal and is cleaned twice a day by the natural action of the sea.
The rocks offshore protect the pool from any high waves or swell.
There's plenty of free parking and a handy coffee and snacks stall (bottom right, silver roof).

These two caravan sites are nearby, one called Kilrenny Mill Caravan Park and
the other one Silverdyke Caravan Park. As you can see they're both directly
adjacent to the pool and the Fife Coastal Path.
