This is also known, to those of us who remember, as the Cardinal Steps Bathing Pool.
These were taken just after the tide began to fall and you can easily see the outer walls of the pool which are under water at high tide. The pool is tidal and is cleaned twice a day by the natural action of the sea. The rocks offshore protect the pool from any high waves or swell.
The Fife Coastal Path runs right alongside and there's plenty of free parking and a handy coffee and snacks stall.
There are two caravan sites are nearby, one called Kilrenny Mill Caravan Park and the other one Silverdyke Caravan Park. As you can see they're both directly adjacent to the pool and the Fife Coastal Path.
