On the south side of the Main Street in Darvel, East Ayrshire is this small square designated as a community space that they've called The Corner.

Sir Alexander Fleming was a local man, born on a farm a few miles north of here, and he won the Nobel Prize for the discovery of penicillin, the world's first effective antibiotic.
