Built in 2003 and now run by Falkirk Council this is the home of Falkirk Football Club who
play in the Scottish Premiership.
In 2004 Falkirk F.C. moved here from Brockville Park (a mile or so west and now rebuilt as a supermarket) after125 years.
As well being an all-seater stadium there's an all-weather football pitch and training pitches. The stadium is a popular site for business conferences, parties, local events and even for weddings and funerals.
Keeping to the modern style of supplying community facilities there's a rather good café (on the third floor, lift available) which specializes in afternoon teas. There's a shop selling club kit and a nursery for under fives as well as a local tourism office and business hub.
You can easily see that some of the extensive car parking provides shelter for cars under solar panels. Built in the eastern side of Falkirk the stadium is less than half a mile from the M9.
It's a tricky location to photograph mostly because of the number of electricity pylons in the vicinity.
