Up at the top of the Haylie Brae to the south of Largs is a viewpoint, car park
and access to some rather good walking trails.
The fishing pond nearby is one of the few in the country with views that stretch for over thirty miles over Arran, Argyll, Kintyre and even Jura on a good day. Something to look at while you wait for a bite.
The ferry leaving Largs was at just the right place so the camera clicked, almost on its own.
The other two photos are general panoramas that stretch from Ailsa Craig in the south all the way up to Ben Lomond to the north. That's about a seventy mile span.
