Right next to the town centre of Livingston this is the home of Livingston Football Club. Almondvale Stadium is currently called the Set Fare Arena.

Livingston no longer play in the Scottish Premiership and have once again been demoted (May 2026).

The club was founded in Edinburgh during the Second Word War as a factory team from Ferranti and later became Meadowbank Thistle before this move further west to the new town in 1995.
