Old Castle Lachlan
Loch Fyne, Argyll

On the eastern shore of Loch Fyne a few miles south of Strachur on the B8000.

This is Old Castle Lachlan which is still being renovated, there are plans for internal floors and stairways.

There's free parking and access is free and fairly simple.

Looking towards the car park and the local restaurant. There's a caravan park a few hundred yards to the left of this view up near the newer castle.

It's a very solid construction.

The path over from the car park has a boardwalk across the wetlands.
