The National Burns Monument
Mauchline, Ayrshire

This monument is located on the north edge of the town of Mauchline and was built to commemorate the life of Robert Burns who lived and worked in the town and on East Mossgiel farm, nearby.

That's the A76 just behind the monument - the main trunk road from Kilmarnock to Dumfries.
