Ganavan Sands

Just north of Oban in Argyll & Bute,
this is the most convenient local beach.

Parking, toilets and food. As well as sand and sea, of course.

There are also lovely views across Loch Linnhe and it's served by a regular bus service from Oban. A popular spot in summer months.
