Three simple views of the boating pond and pavilion at Rouken Glen park in the southern suburbs of Glasgow.

In days past there were rowing boats for hire but that's all gone now.

There's a simple café with outdoor tables and the whole park is massive, this is only a small part.

Parking is free but a little scarce on busy days and there are plenty of buses nearby as well as a station at Whitecraigs.

Autumn was just breaking through. The water-lillies seem to be taking over the pond again.
