Symington Church & Village

Looking north-west on a crisp day in late February.

The Main Street is at the left with Brewlands Road across the foreground.

Symington Parish Church is paired with Craigie and the core of the building dates back to 1160.

Further to the north and now looking south west.

These photos were deliberately taken when the trees were bare so the church can be more easliy seen.

Again, a more overhead view from the same direction.

With the Main Street on the right and Brewlands Road on the far side this is from the north.

The church is in a Norman style and was altered and extended in the late 18th century.

This shows the second entrance.

The plan is to retake these photos in the spring when the trees have pink and white blossom on them.
